The compact 8HP45, 8HP50, and 8HP51 transmissions may be limited in stock form—but ATS changes the game. With complete Stage 0 through Stage 3 performance rebuilds, this service is designed for drivers who demand more from their driveline, whether on the street, at the drag strip, or during track days.

Each transmission is fully disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt with upgraded clutch packs, billet internals, and key reinforcements tailored to your application. These builds improve reliability, shifting performance, and power handling across the board.

If you’re running serious power through an 8HP45, 50, or 51, ATS offers a proven solution with builds rated up to 1300 WHP / 1100 WTQ.

Stage 0 – Ideal for daily-driven or time-attack vehicles needing a reliable transmission without harsh launches.
Stage 1 – Handles aggressive launches and fast acceleration with OEM-like drivability.
Stage 2 – Perfect for built motors; maintains smooth shifts while handling big power.
Stage 3 – The strongest available; built to hold record-setting power for full race seasons.

Note: Stage 0 retains the stock cast E hub, making it best for non-abusive driving in 2nd gear.

Please note that this service requires customer to send their transmission to 5150 AutoSport for servicing. All transmission upgrade services include an 2-3 week lead time, beginning the day the transmission is received by 5150 AutoSport.

Heavy-Use Components such as racing transmissions require regular maintenance to ensure longevity and continued performance. 5150 AutoSport recommends submitting your transmission for inspection and service bi-annually.
