The BMW G90 M5 is the latest generation of BMW's iconic high-performance sports sedan, introduced as part of the 7th generation of the 5 Series. Building on the M5's legacy of combining luxury and cutting-edge performance, the G90 brings several notable advancements, including a hybrid powertrain. It pairs a 4.4-liter twin-turbo S68 V8 with an electric motor to produce about 727 PS (≈ 717 hp) and over 1000 Nm of torque. It retains BMW’s M xDrive AWD system (capable of rear-wheel-drive bias or disengaging fronts), sports more rear legroom, advanced suspension tech, large wheels (20-front / 21-rear), options like carbon-ceramic brakes, and a richly equipped, driver-focused interior. The G90 also brings back the Touring body style (station wagon) under chassis code G99.
