Our CNC Cylinder Head Combustion Chamber Service is a precision machining process where the combustion chambers of an engine's cylinder head are reshaped and refined using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology, optimizing engine performance for street or track applications. Completed on our brand new, state-of-the-art Rottler 5-Axis CNC machines, this 5150 service is performed to optimize the flow characteristics of the combustion chambers, leading to improved engine performance.

CNC Combustion Chamber Re-Shaping Process:

1. 3D Scanning and Modeling: The existing combustion chamber is scanned to create a detailed 3D model. This allows 5150 engineers to analyze the current shape and identify areas for improvement.

2. Design Optimization: Our engineers then design an optimized combustion chamber profile, reshaping the chamber with a focus on improving airflow, fuel atomization, and combustion efficiency. 

3. CNC Machining: Using the 3D model and optimized design, our Rottler CNC machine precisely cuts and reshapes the combustion chambers to the desired specifications, then smooths all surfaces for optimal air flow. This process ensures consistent and repeatable results across all cylinders.

4. Final Inspection and Testing: After machining, the cylinder head is inspected to ensure that the modifications meet our exact tolerances. The modified head may also be flow-bench tested to quantify the improvements in airflow and combustion efficiency.
