Michel Feghali's Hill Climb E46 M3
Michel Feghali: Talent Deserves the Right Equipment

Some drivers make headlines because of the size of their budget.
Others earn respect because of what they can do behind the wheel.
If you've spent any time around the BMW racing scene in Lebanon, you've probably heard the name Michel Feghali "Micho". Known for his aggressive driving style and commitment to pushing every lap, Micho has built a reputation as one of the country's most exciting BMW drivers. What made his results even more impressive was that they came with relatively simple engine combinations, proving that talent can often make up for what a car lacks on paper.
One person who recognized that talent early was Asaf, owner of Mainline Dyno and the official 5150 AutoSport Lebanon dealer.
Asaf and Michel have been friends for years, and after watching Michel consistently fight for podium finishes with limited equipment, he came to us at 5150 AutoSport USA with an idea.
"Let's build him an engine that matches his driving."
It wasn't about chasing the biggest horsepower number or building something for social media. It was about giving a talented driver the reliability and performance he needed to compete at the level everyone knew he was capable of.
That conversation became the beginning of a true partnership between 5150 AutoSport USA, 5150 AutoSport Lebanon, and Mainline Dyno.
Anyone can build an engine that makes power for a dyno pull. Building one that survives race after race is something entirely different.
Michel's program was designed around reliability first. Every component was selected because it had already proven itself in demanding BMW race engines.
The build includes:
- Supertech 9,600 RPM Valve Train Package
- Schrick Camshafts
- Upgraded Rocker Arm Shaft Kit
- 5150 DLC Cam Followers
-
5150 VANOS Delete Kit
- ARP Head Studs
-
ARP Main Studs
- CP-Carrillo Forged Pistons
-
Manley Forged Connecting Rods
- 5150 Race Main Bearings
-
5150 Race Rod Bearings
- 5150 P54 Race Headers
- Tilton Clutch Kit
- Link Xtreme ECU
To complete the package, the car runs a Link ECU, Link Motorsports sensors, and a Tilton Twin Disc Clutch, giving Michel the confidence to push the car as hard as he pushes himself.
The Job Doesn't End After the Tune
One thing that separates this program from many others is the level of support behind it.
Asaf isn't simply the tuner who calibrates the ECU and sends the car out the door.
Before every race weekend, the car is back at Mainline Dyno for a complete inspection. Fluids, engine health, calibration, and critical systems are checked to make sure everything is exactly where it should be before Michel lines up on the grid.
Once the racing starts, the work continues.
After every session, Asaf downloads the ECU data and reviews every important parameter—fueling, ignition timing, temperatures, pressures, knock activity, and overall engine performance. The information collected on race day helps fine-tune the setup, identify potential issues before they become failures, and continue improving the car throughout the season.
It's the same process you'll find in professional motorsports. Data isn't just recorded—it drives every decision.

What makes this project special isn't just the engine. It's the relationship behind it.
Asaf believed in Michel long before this build ever started. He knew what Michel was capable of and wanted to help him reach that next level. When he brought the idea to 5150 AutoSport, we shared that vision.
Supporting racers has always been part of who we are. The products we develop come from real competition, real testing, and real drivers who are willing to push both themselves and their equipment to the limit.
Michel's program is another example of that philosophy in action.
Looking Forward
Every race weekend adds another chapter to the story.
More laps.
More data.
More development.
As Michel continues to compete, the engine package will continue to evolve alongside him. That feedback not only helps his program but also contributes to the products 5150 AutoSport develops for BMW enthusiasts around the world.
This isn't just another sponsored build.
It's a partnership built on friendship, trust, engineering, and a shared passion for BMW motorsport.
