5150 AutoSport specializes in building and supplying the components for High Performance BMW Motorsport Applications through our global network of engine builders, tuners, dealers, mechanic shops, and more. As we continue to experience steady growth, we are actively seeking full-time Performance Sales Representatives. 

 

Role

As a Performance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for interacting with our customers as they contact us regarding component questions, (place ) orders, and request technical support. Primary means of customer contact will be via email, so it is a must that the candidate is fluent in leveraging online systems.

5150 works tirelessly to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service, including responsive technical and order support, timely responses to (inquiries), and immediate resolution to payment and delivery changes. Your role as a performance sales representative is to minimize customer response delays and to provide accurate, helpful information to the customer.

You will be working in an active, friendly, and collaborative office. There is no remote option for this position. We do not believe in cubicles and encourage employees to feel comfortable asking questions, communicating with one another, and collaborating on big jobs. 

If you are not comfortable performing customer service tasks, this job is not for you. This position is base plus commission. There is ample opportunity to grow within the company as we continue to grow and expand globally.

 

Ideal Candidate Qualities

  • Familiar with engine structure and components

  • BMW-Fluent

    • Experience with other makes is a plus, but not required

  • Located in South Florida / able to reliably commute to our Boca Raton office

  • Out-going and willing to work directly with customers to determine needs

  • A team player, willing to rely on teammates for technical knowledge and guidance

  • Friendly; excited to work with teammates and customers

  • Hardworking and self-motivated; willing to make the most out of their shift on a daily basis

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Education level of high school or beyond

  • Able to follow instructions and eager to learn

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Receive and review online orders placed on our website

  • Receive and review customer emails

  • Inform customers of possible lead times or delays

  • Relay technical questions to engine build advisor or purchasing, as needed

  • Act as an intermediary between customers and purchasing

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering timely, friendly service

  • Report and escalate any discrepancies to upper management 

 

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

  • Occasional Event / Track Weekends, optional

  • In-Person at our Boca Raton, FL location
