Saturday, April 5th, 5150 AutoSport had the opportunity to sponsor and attend Bimmer Invasion of West Palm Beach, one of the biggest BMW enthusiast gatherings on the East Coast. Hosted at the expansive South Florida Fairgrounds, this event brought together BMW lovers from all over the country for a day filled with high-octane excitement, stunning builds, and thrilling competitions.
Bimmer Invasion is known for its electric atmosphere and diverse lineup of activities, and this year’s event did not disappoint. The judged car show, presented by IND, featured some of the cleanest and most meticulously built BMWs in the country, showcasing everything from pristine restorations to full-on race builds. The VIP section highlighted some of the most exclusive and high-performance BMWs in attendance, making it a must-see for enthusiasts and industry insiders alike.
Of course, no Bimmer Invasion is complete without the roar of engines and the scent of burning rubber. The burnout competition, presented by Valvetronic, had the crowd on their feet as drivers pushed their cars to the limit. The exhaust competition, hosted by Active Autowerke, gave attendees the chance to hear some of the most aggressive and finely tuned BMW setups. And for those who love motorsports, the drift and autocross competitions provided non-stop action, with skilled drivers putting their cars through intense technical challenges.
One of the standout additions this year was the dedicated classic BMW section, welcoming models produced in 2000 or earlier. Seeing these legendary machines lined up was a nostalgic trip for many attendees and a great way to celebrate BMW’s rich heritage.
For 5150 AutoSport, the event was about more than just high-performance BMWs—it was a chance to reconnect with many of our East Coast vendors, shop owners, and longtime friends. We enjoyed catching up with the community, discussing the latest innovations in performance parts and engine builds, and sharing our passion for precision engineering.
